MetaMask has issued a warning to customers about misleading token schemes falsely claiming affiliation with the platform, emphasizing that there’s at present no official MetaMask token.

MetaMask, the main Web3 pockets supplier, alerted its group on March 3 about fraudulent schemes selling non-existent MetaMask tokens. The platform confused that any claims suggesting the existence of a MetaMask token are false and probably dangerous.
