Crypto scamming and phishing

Liu Lizhi allegedly managed operations at Funnull, together with overseeing workers who assigned domains to scammers and maintained infrastructure supporting fraud, phishing, and illicit playing.

The Treasury’s motion follows a September 2023 alert by its Monetary Crimes Enforcement Community warning of pig butchering scams and their ties to Southeast Asian crime teams exploiting victims of labor trafficking to hold out fraud.
