A federal courtroom has struck down the Securities and Trade Fee’s (SEC) controversial vendor rule, delivering a significant setback to the company’s regulatory efforts within the crypto sector.

The courtroom agreed, describing the SEC’s definition of “vendor” as “untethered from the textual content, historical past, and construction” of the legislation.

Blockchain Affiliation CEO Kristen Smith stated:
