Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Occasion (LDP) has proposed lowering the nation’s crypto tax charges, signaling a shift in regulatory strategy.

On March 6, Akihisa Shiozaki, a member of Japan’s Home of Representatives, shared particulars of the proposal on X, noting that it’s open for public suggestions till March 30. The initiative seeks to redefine cryptocurrencies as a brand new asset class beneath the Monetary Devices and Change Act.
