The Hong Kong Financial Authority (HKMA) collaborates with multilateral organizations to reinforce local weather funding methods in Asia, aiming for sustainable progress and lowered emissions.





The Hong Kong Financial Authority (HKMA) has introduced a strategic partnership with a number of multilateral organizations to bolster local weather funding initiatives throughout Asia. This collaboration was revealed on the Asia Local weather Funding Seminar held on November 11, 2024, in response to the Hong Kong Financial Authority.

Strategic Collaboration for Sustainable Finance

The HKMA has joined forces with the Asian Improvement Financial institution (ADB), Asian Infrastructure Funding Financial institution (AIIB), and the Worldwide Finance Company (IFC), a member of the World Financial institution Group, to strengthen efforts in sustainable finance in Asia. This partnership goals to deploy a minimum of US$500 million in investments centered on sectors pivotal to attaining web zero emissions. Key areas embrace renewable vitality infrastructure, sustainable transportation, and modern vitality options.
