BlackRock, the world’s largest asset supervisor, has appointed Anchorage Digital Financial institution N.A. as a further cryptocurrency custodian for its iShares Bitcoin Belief ETF.
Anchorage Digital will function a further cryptocurrency custodian for IBIT, based on a Kind 8-Ok submitting dated April 7.
This transfer introduces a dual-custodian mannequin, with Anchorage Digital becoming a member of Coinbase, the present custodian, to boost the safety and operational resilience of IBIT’s Bitcoin (BTC) holdings.
