BitMEX will assist the migration from MATIC to POL tokens on the Polygon community, delisting MATIC contracts and enabling zero community charges for withdrawals.





BitMEX has introduced vital adjustments for its customers in response to the upcoming Polygon community migration. Beginning September 4, 2024, the platform will assist the brand new POL token, which can exchange MATIC because the native fuel and staking token for Polygon’s Proof-of-Stake (PoS) chain, in accordance with a BitMEX Weblog.

Zero Withdrawal Charges for MATIC (ERC-20)

To facilitate this transition, BitMEX is enabling zero community charges for any MATIC (ERC-20) withdrawals efficient August 27, 2024. The platform urges current MATIC holders to withdraw their tokens from BitMEX wallets as quickly as attainable to keep away from problems throughout the migration.

Delisting of MATIC Contracts

In preparation for the migration, BitMEX will delist all MATIC contracts, together with Spot, Perpetual, and Convert contracts, on September 3, 2024. This transfer goals to streamline the transition to POL tokens and decrease disruption for customers.

Assist for POL on Polygon

Following the migration on September 4, 2024, BitMEX will assist the POL token on the Polygon community solely. The platform will not assist MATIC or POL tokens on the Ethereum (ERC-20) community.
