BlackRock’s USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) has deepened its place inside the digital asset house as Frax Finance permitted it as collateral for its soon-to-be-launched frxUSD stablecoin, in line with a Jan. 2 assertion.

With this partnership, BUIDL will operate as a main reserve asset, backing the minting and redemption of frxUSD. The stablecoin shall be supported by property managed inside BlackRock’s BUIDL, together with money holdings, US Treasury payments, and repurchase agreements.

This construction guarantees strong transparency, with all transactions recorded on-chain. Moreover, it introduces distinctive fiat on-and-off ramping capabilities, seamlessly connecting conventional and decentralized monetary methods.
