Amrita Srivastava, a London-based govt who labored remotely on Binance’s Hyperlink platform, testified that she was dismissed after reporting {that a} colleague solicited a bribe from a buyer in alternate for expedited integration companies. 

The alleged funds had been disguised as “consultative companies” and executed whereas the colleague purportedly distanced himself from his formal ties to Binance. The colleague in query has since left the corporate.

Binance response

The previous govt claims she reported the bribery incident to her managers in April 2023 however was terminated a month later for what Binance claims was “poor efficiency.” 

In an announcement, Binance’s lawyer maintained that the choice to finish Srivastava’s employment predated her whistleblowing, including that the alleged bribery was already identified and beneath inner evaluate.
