Bybit Declares ‘War on Lazarus’ as it Crowdsources Effort to Freeze Stolen Funds

Hacked cryptocurrency change Bybit has declared a “struggle towards Lazarus” and launched a brand new web site monitoring the group’s pockets addresses, hoping to crowdsource the investigative efforts. In return for submissions that result in frozen funds, the change is providing 5% of what will get frozen.

The declaration of “struggle” got here from Bybit’s CEO, Ben Zhou, in a social media publish during which he famous the agency was launching the primary “first bounty web site that reveals aggregated full transparency on the sanctioned Lazarus cash laundering actions.”

Zhou wrote that customers can join their wallets to the newly launched web site to assist hint the stolen funds, including that when a submission results in funds getting frozen, a “bounty is paid upfront” as quickly as belongings are frozen.
