Bittensor’s Decentralized AI Studio, Yuma, Launches Asset Management Arm

Yuma, a growth studio and accelerator for decentralized AI (deAI) community Bittensor created by Barry Silbert of Digital Forex Group, has launched Yuman Asset Administration, to permit institutional and accredited buyers easy accessibility to the deAI ecosystem.

Bittensor is a decentralized community for AI that rewards folks for contributing information and computing energy to a variety of actions within the type of distinct use case-driven entities referred to as “subnets,” that may embody issues like textual content translation, fraud detection, picture recognition to extra esoteric objectives like predicting the construction of advanced protein chains.

Powered by its native token, TAO, Bittensor aspires to be the “World Broad Net” of AI, by permitting permissionless AI innovation the place anybody can construct, energy, or entry fashions via subnets – a substitute for the centralized infrastructure or corporate-owned AI sources.

Yuma Asset Administration, which comes with a $10 million anchor funding from DCG, options two fund methods investing in subnet tokens, the protocol-native crypto belongings of those decentralized contributor networks, denominated in and traded with TAO, in keeping with a press launch.

The Yuma Subnet Composite Fund, which is designed for market-cap weighted publicity throughout all energetic subnets, is much like the “NASDAQ Composite” for subnet tokens, DCG stated. The Yuma Giant Cap Subnet Fund is much like the “Dow Jones Industrial Common” for subnet tokens, designed for focused publicity to the highest subnets by market capitalization.

Again within the early days of Bitcoin, Silbert did one thing comparable when he launched the Bitcoin Funding Belief in 2013, now Grayscale’s GBTC product. DCG believes that it stays troublesome for buyers to entry Bittensor, or for buyers to entry AI typically on condition that the biggest AI corporations like OpenAI and Anthropic are non-public. As such, Yuma Asset Administration is offering an early and distinctive bridge to AI for establishments and accredited buyers, DCG stated.

“Subnet tokens are an rising asset class, fueled by TAO, that present buyers with unprecedented publicity to an enormous wave of AI innovation,” stated Yuma CEO Barry Silbert. “The decentralized AI sector has the ability to be as transformative as Bitcoin, and Yuma Asset Administration is opening the door for buyers to entry it via Bittensor.”
