EOS Network rebrands to Vaulta, aims to merge DeFi with traditional banking

EOS Community introduced on March 18 that it’s going to rebrand as Vaulta, marking a strategic shift towards web3 banking because it seeks to combine decentralized expertise with conventional monetary techniques.

The transition, which features a token swap, is scheduled for late Could 2025, pending affirmation.

The transfer represents years of growth geared toward leveraging Bitcoin’s rising affect in international finance. Vaulta will place itself as a scalable working system for web3 banking, providing quick transactions, blockchain connectivity, and decentralized information administration.

Vaulta Basis CEO and founder Yves La Rose mentioned:

“This transformation represents greater than only a title change; it’s a decisive step ahead in our mission to ship open, accessible monetary entry for everybody.”

Rebrand

As a part of the rebrand, Vaulta will set up a Banking Advisory Council comprising consultants from each conventional finance and blockchain sectors. The council will present strategic steerage to bridge the hole between legacy banking and DeFi.

Members embody Lawrence Truong, CEO of Systemic Belief; Didier Lavalle, CEO of Tetra; Alexander Nelson, senior director of digital finance at ATB Monetary; and Jonathan Rizzo, senior enterprise answer specialist at ATB Monetary.
