Japanese funding agency Metaplanet has elevated its Bitcoin holdings to over 700 BTC after its newest acquisition of the highest crypto asset.

On Oct. 11, Metaplanet confirmed the acquisition of an extra 108.999 BTC for ¥1 billion. The agency acquired the Bitcoin at a median worth of ¥9.17 million, roughly $61,659.

This marks Metaplanet’s third Bitcoin buy in October, bringing its whole holdings to 748.502 BTC, valued at ¥6.965 billion or $46.8 million.

On Oct. 1, the agency bought 107.91 BTC for round $7 million and later earned a 23.97 BTC premium by promoting 233 BTC put choices on Oct. 3. Quick-forward to Oct. 7, and the agency additionally acquired an extra 108.786 BTC for ¥1 billion, equal to about $6.7 million.

Metaplanet revealed its common worth for all of its Bitcoin is ¥9.3 million, roughly $62,504 per BTC. So, with Bitcoin’s present buying and selling at round $60,600, the agency is presently going through a slight lack of round $1,900 on every of its Bitcoins.
