Extra help has been thrown behind the Readability Act as lawmakers rush to get the long-awaited invoice over the road. This time from the Main Cities Chiefs Affiliation.

The nonprofit — made up of police chiefs from main U.S. cities — mentioned Thursday that it was pleased with how the invoice addresses monetary crime.

Lawmakers are hoping the Readability Act will get handed earlier than Congress departs for August recess. Whereas the invoice has been drafted bipartisanly, some Democrats are sad with the present model.
